A forever family - the Perry family photo shoot.

I was completely humbled when the Perry family asked me to take their sweet daughter's picture in honor of her adoption into their forever family being finalized!  What a privilege!  We have only known this family a year, since our move to Hattiesburg, but they have endured so much this past year to fight for their daughter.  I am so excited for them that she is forever theirs.  Little Miss M is in for a treat having such awesome parents.  I spent the day with M and her mom to snap some pictures for her adoption announcement.
Look at that sweet smile.  I love that whenever you see this big smile, it is because she is looking over at her momma!
Checking out the fish in the water.
We got our exercise chasing after this sweet girl.  She was on the move!
 Another sweet smile for momma!
This is one of the Perry's favorites.  I love it, too!
I love this one of her holding Momma's hand.  So, so sweet.  Those little hands get so big, so fast that it's nice to capture them this little to remember.
A girl with a book is a girl after my own heart.  Love this shot.
Watching the ducks down in the water.
Another one of my favorites.  She told us about the flowers, "One for daddy!"
Thank you, Perry family, for the privilege of capturing your sweet girl.  We rejoice with you in this exciting time of M's gotcha day!

McMullan family shoot.

I had the privilege of spending time with this party of six on Saturday.  This cute family is near and dear to my heart, and not just because they have one boy and three girls like us, ha!  Teresa has become a sweet, sweet friend to me since we have moved to Hattiesburg.  Being a pastor's wife and a mom of four like me, we were sure to find something in common!  I was so excited to take pictures of her cute family.
 What a beautiful family!
 Her children are so sweet!

How photogenic is Teresa?! Love this one of her with her boy!
Big brother sure does love on his sisters.
 Beautiful girl.
 Love this one!
One of my favorites of the entire day.
 Daddy daughter love.
 Momma loving on her girl.
Thank you, McMullan family, for allowing to spend time with your sweet family!  I hope you enjoy your pictures!

Davis family photo shoot.

What grandparent doesn't want lots and lots of pictures of her sweet grand babies?  I was honored to take pictures of Nana Sherry's grand babies when she asked me to.  We met Tuesday afternoon at the Train Depot in Hattiesburg.  I was so thankful Aunt Kelly came along to help, and she definitely got a workout, too!
I think this is one of my favorites of the entire day.
 How cute are these two?

I adore this sweet girl.  She is my Story's BFF.  Story told me last week, "Mommy, her is best my friend!"
Look at those sweet babies playing with the rocks.
Precious baby C was just chill and compliant the entire shoot.
Love this picture of handsome E.
Thank you, Davis, Harrell, and Kirkpatrick family for allowing me the privilege of taking pictures of your little ones.  Nana Sherry, hope you enjoy!

The James family.

Teresa and I first met in the fall of 2005, when we both became teachers at the Heiskell School for the very first time.  Being the new kids on the bottom floor, we became fast friends.  Teresa and Jonathan were also members of the church in Marietta, where David served as the pastor to young families. During our second year of teaching together, her husband was transferred to Delaware.  After a few years up north, he was transferred to Laurel, Mississippi, where they live today.  It is such a treat to be this close to a dear friend.  Jonathan is a veterinarian at Sanderson Farms, and since he has the hook up, we were able to shoot their family pictures on the gorgeous property Saturday morning!  What a treat!  I loved spending time with my friend and her adorable family.  I had a tough time only choosing a few pictures to share!
Jonathan and Teresa with their son Jackson, age 3.
Jonathan and beautiful Matilyn, age 2.  Her children are close in age like ours!
 Sweet family of four.
This little one may or may not have her daddy wrapped around her little finger.  Can you blame him?
Look at that sweet face! This is one of my favorites of the entire day.
Handsome Jackson.  These children are so photogenic.
These two are so sweet together.
They had the best time playing at Daddy's work.
 Another family shot.
 Love this one!
See why I had so much trouble only choosing a few!
I love how Jackson and Matilyn are looking at each other here.
In case you don't know much about Sanderson Farms, they are all about chicken!  Here is a statue of a chicken made out of chicken pin parts!  How clever!
Jonathan and Teresa, thank you for allowing me the privilege of taking your family pictures today!  I loved spending time with the four of you!

Story.

I spent some time Wednesday, with Chad and Sherry Messa of Mesa Sky Photography in preparation for a photo shoot I am doing on Saturday.  I got to practice on one of my very favorite subjects, too!
Story is proudly showing me she is dry in this picture, ha!  We spent all last week potty training!
 I love those sweet cheeks!
Chad and Sherry have this awesome barn out behind their house, where I snapped most of these shots.
Her hair is so much longer than her sisters' hair was at this age.  Look at those sweet locks.
 Such a beauty, she is.
My favorite of the entire day.
Thanks, Chad and Sherry, for spending the morning with Story and me!  I'm so thankful for your friendship!
